The light of the world, the beacon in the dark and the hope that gives us strength to survive, is our teacher. Today we celebrate Teachers' Day. A day, kept aside to honour the gifted souls who work everyday to make sure that the future is bright for all of us. Let us welcome all the teachers with a big round of applause.

15th August, the day of Independence, the day we broke our shackles, the day we freed ourselves from the clutches of a foreign power. Seventy four years ago, this day laid the foundation of Independent India, when all people irrespective of religion, caste, colour and gender united to form a secular and sovereign state. A different and significant morning, in which we witness our countrymen starting their day with flag-raising ceremonies and parades at various places. We sing the national anthem โ€œJana Gana Manaโ€ and the national song โ€œVande Mataramโ€ with our heads held high. On this day we remember the brave hearts that sacrificed themselves for our country. On this day we salute every prominent leader and every unsung hero without whom the dream of โ€œIndependent Bharatโ€ would have remained unfulfilled.

May we always stand together, and may we say with pride,
We are Indians.

21st century is the era of new and advanced technology. With the launch of E-vehicle,the automobile industry has been revolutionised. Due to increased focus on the use of renewable energy, electrical vehicles got a resurgence and it's demand and popularity is increasing day by day. Thus following the current trends,our college ๐๐ˆ๐“ ๐ƒ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ decided to participate in E-Baja mission. We are ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ '๐•๐Ž๐‘๐“๐„๐—'.
To obtain success and provide the necessary impetus required in this mission ,we require some really passionate and enthusiastic individuals who would contribute to this mission and strive for making this mission a memorable and successful one.

Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya KCIE FASc, more commonly known as Sir MV (15 September 1860 โ€“ 14 April 1962), was an Indian civil engineer and statesman and the 19th Diwan of Mysore, serving from 1912 to 1919. He received India's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna , in 1955. He was knighted as a Knight Commander of the British Indian Empire (KCIE) by King George V for his contributions to the public good. His birthday, 15 September, is celebrated as Engineer's Day in India, Sri Lanka and Tanzania in his memory. He was the Chief Engineer of Krishna Raja Sagara dam in the north-west suburb of Mysuru city, and also served as one of the Chief Engineers of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad. ๐Ÿ™
