Kia launched the Sorento on 4 September, its first strong hybrid in India.

238hp and 380Nm from the 1.6 litre hybrid, 202hp and 441Nm from the 2.0 litre diesel. Three rows, straight into Fortuner, Kodiaq and Meridian territory.

The part worth noticing is not the car. Strong hybrid has moved out of sedans and hatchbacks and into large SUVs. That is the next two years.
