CHEATING BY HYUNDAI MOTORS
Govt of India has been promoting CNG as alternative fuel system for eco friendly environment. But Hyundai Motors is making ill gotten money by cheating customers at Delhi.
Hyundai Motors (Korean company) is a well known leading car manufacturer in India. Hyundai is not authorised to sell CNG fitment and repair CNG cars in Delhi since it is not an approved CNG Fitment Centre by the Transport Commissioner Delhi.
Provisions related to emission, safety, installation and other requirements for permitting such conversion are also notified under Rule 115 of Motor Vehicle Rules
Hyundai is blackmailing customers buying i10 cars at Delhi by compelling them to have CNG fitment done from them in case warranty is to be availed on cars. They directly demand from customers and charge Rs.75,000/= for CNG fitment while vendors approved by Transport Commissioner Charges around Rs.30,000/=.
Hyundai further cheat customers by getting CNG fitment done from another company CEV Engineers Pvt. Ltd (Korean Company) at Okhla and share the money among themselves. CEV Engineers use the name and logos of Hyundai.
Hyundai extends car warranty only if CNG fitment is done though them, though they are not authorised to do so and Govt has notified 190 Vendors at Delhi to do so.
Hyundai is further cheating customers and doing illegal action of repairing CNG cars in its authorised workshops like Hans Hyundai and Deep Hyundai who also have no expertise and Govt approval to repair CNG cars.
Hyundai and CEV Engineers are doing this malpractice and criminal act since 2009 and are fixing around 3000 CNG Kits every year and on average they have earned 210 Crores INR in last 10 years by this illegal act.
Highlighting these blatant abuses of law Shri Vinay Kumar Jain Advocate has taken up the issue and The Magistrate has ordered for registration of criminal case(FIR) against a these three companies and the FIR 412/2019 has been registered against three companies led by Hyundai Motors for offences of cheating and common intention.
We seek that this money be deposited in PM Relief Funds for public use and Hyundai should apologise for cheating customers
