Lucas Indian Service Limited (LIS) established in 1930, is an aftermarket organization providing solutions to a range of vehicle manufacturers from 2 wheelers, cars, trucks/buses as well as off-highway vehicles. LIS also manufactures Ignition coils and Solenoid switches and distributes wide range of Auto-electrical parts, diesel fuel injection spares, Automotive Batteries, Radiator Fan Motor Assemblies, Glow plugs, Synthetic & Semi Synthetic Lubricants and Engine Coolant. Deep reach is achieved through 4 Regional Offices, 30 Branch offices, 33 Stock points, 3 Central Warehouses, 23 company workshops, 450 service dealers and 1500 Dealers. Comprehensive service solutions in Auto-Electrical Products and Diesel Fuel Injection system is provided by specialized Training to service dealers, vehicle manufacturers, state transport undertakings, defence establishment and fleet operators.

As vehicles evolve, the skills to service them must evolve too.

With vehicle systems becoming increasingly advanced, technicians and mechanics need the right knowledge and hands-on training to diagnose and service them effectively.

At LIS, we have been working towards this through the LIS Academy and LIS Unnati. Since 2024, we have trained over 1,500 technicians and mechanics across India as an accredited partner of the Automotive Skills Development Council - India (ASDC). This work is helping technicians keep pace with the changing needs of the automotive aftermarket.

To take this work further, LIS has signed an MoU with the International Automobile Centre of Excellence (iACE).

Through this collaboration, technicians will have access to advanced, hands-on diagnostic training, supported by LIS’s aftermarket experience and iACE’s advanced facilities and automotive technology expertise.
