Beware of Zoomcar’s Fraudulent Practices – My Nightmare Experience

I want to share my horrific experience with Zoomcar so that no one else falls into the same trap.
Coming from a humble background, I worked hard to earn and invest in a car, planning to attach it to Zoomcar for additional income. However, this decision has turned into a financial and legal disaster.
Despite Zoomcar’s claims of having vendor garages for repairs, there was no such support in Chennai.
I decided to exit the platform and sent my car on a final trip on August 12, 2024.
The trip was supposed to end on August 14, 2024, but my car was never returned.
Instead, I got a call from Bagalur Police Station, informing me that my car was seized because illegal substances (ho**ah & 200kg of pan masala) were found in it!
Shockingly, the FIR includes my name as the owner, even though the car was taken by a Zoomcar customer.
Since then, I have been in a legal battle, spending over ₹2 lakhs in legal fees. Zoomcar refuses to take responsibility, ignores my emails, and their advocate even asked me to hire my own lawyer at my expense.
To make things worse, when I saw my car at the station, many parts were missing. Zoomcar has not helped in any way, leaving me to suffer financial losses, mental stress, and legal trouble.
Mr. Hiroshi Nishijima, is this the company you are running?
Instead of looting money from innocent car owners, maybe try running an ethical business?
I am raising this complaint publicly so that everyone is aware of Zoomcar’s negligence. Car owners, be warned: DO NOT TRUST ZOOMCAR!
