3SHUL Display Firmware v2.2 is Done.
your display is now a Bluetooth bridge to your entire drivetrain. VESC Tool connects to the display over BLE and reaches every controller on the CAN bus — configuration, real-time data, and firmware updates, with no dongle and no laptop cable. Built for electric motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and UTVs.
What's new in v2.2:
**VESC Tool over Bluetooth**
- The display appears in VESC Tool as a standard BLE device — scan, connect, and you have full access to every ESC on the bus
- Works on single and multi-motor setups
- ESC firmware updates run through the display
- The dashboard keeps running while a tuning session is active
**Display configuration from your phone**
- The display serves its own settings page inside VESC Tool
- Per-controller tuning: motor current and RPM limits for each ESC individually
- Battery current is handled as a pack budget you split across controllers — on a dual-motor build, allocate 40/60 between front and rear if that suits your setup
- Eco / Normal / Sport percentages, per controller or vehicle-wide
- Change the active drive mode remotely
**Bluetooth security**
- Open mode, or encrypted with a six-digit passkey
- Security mode and passkey changes take effect immediately, without a reboot
- Changing the security policy disconnects any active session
- Paired devices can be reviewed and removed from the display
**Ride logs in the browser**
- The display serves a full log dashboard to any browser on the same Wi-Fi, at http://3shul.local or the address shown in VESC Tool
- Interactive charts: speed, motor and battery current, power, voltage sag, state of charge, temperatures, eRPM, duty cycle and FOC currents
- Separate traces for each controller on multi-motor builds
- Ride summary: distance, average and top speed, Wh/km, peak power, peak temperatures
- CSV export in one click — no card readers, no cables
**Configurable hardware keys**
- Eight key inputs, remappable from the display
- Press-to-learn assignment: select a function, press the key you want
- Ships with drive-mode functions; the list will grow with coming releases
**Reliability**
- Reworked multi-ESC CAN handling — the dashboard and a VESC Tool session share the bus cleanly
- Display OTA updates are locked out while a tuning session is active, to protect both
