Mahindra XUV 7XO scores 5 stars in Bharat NCAP.
The XUV 7XO has received 30.76 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection (AOP) tests and 44.97 out of 49 points in the child occupant protection (COP) tests. The Mahindra XUV 7XO has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP for both adult and child occupant protection. It scored 30.76 out of 32 points in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) test and 44.97 out of 49 points in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) test. Bharat NCAP tested the 7-seater AX7 diesel-automatic FWD and AWD variants, but the 5-star safety rating applies to all variants of the XUV 7XO.

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the driver’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs and feet received ‘good’ protection, while protection to the chest and tibia was ‘adequate’. Except for the co-driver’s tibiae, which received ‘adequate’ protection, all other critical parts received ‘good’ protection. In the side-movable deformable barrier test, all critical parts of the passenger, including head, chest, abdomen and pelvis, received ‘good’ protection.
