International Motors

At that time having a Car was a symbol of opulence and the business of Car Accessories was in a very nascent stage. Wanting to do something new and creative we started International Motors. At that time only two cars were available in the market a Fiat and Ambassador. We started with a concept of modifying these with designer dashboard, cockpit, console, bucket seats etc. In 1982, we started installing air conditioners in rear seats which became our monopoly. We modified Tempo Traveller into luxury saloon with reclining bucket seats, reading lights, ash tray and surround sound system. With new influx of cars coming into the market and a wider segment of customers to attend, we started Auto India in 2001. Later in 2008 we decided to start WoodPeckers with our niche customers in mind. We wanted to turn the banal interiors of a car into a luxurious cabin. The concept was to have wooden finish interiors.
