Made in India will be charming in the world of electric vehicles
India has so much capacity to make electric vehicles that in this case it can achieve No. 1 position leaving the rest of the world behind. This claim has been made in a research in America. The research has been jointly done by Barkley Lab and University of California, Los Angeles, stating that India has the potential to become a world leader in EV production in the coming times. According to Berkeley Lab and Report writer Deepak Rajgopal, the policy of Electric Vehicles in India is quite good.
According to media reports, a research has been done in the US that India has the ability to produce the most electric vehicles in the world. The same research has also revealed that if electric trucks replace diesel-powered trucks in India, it will have a positive impact on the environment. After doing this India will be able to completely eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by 2070.
According to information, 88 percent of the oil used in India is imported. This causes the country to use large amounts of foreign currency. In addition, 60% of the oil consumption is spent in the country's transport sector is only cargo trucks.
India is emphasizing that more and more vehicles across the country should be operated with electric fuels instead of traditional fuels like petrol and diesel. For this subsidy is also being given by the government. Along with the Center, many state governments are also giving huge discounts on the purchase of electric vehicles on their behalf. Which is also having positive outcome. Many companies in the country are now focusing on electric vehicles and electric vehicles are constantly being offered.
After electric vehicles are promoted people are liking to buy these too. By doing this, they are getting the benefit of subsidy. Along with that the cost per kilometer is also decreasing compared to petrol and diesel. Because of which their use is increasing.
