About Me:
Hello, I am Patrick and welcome to my page Propsafe. For you to understand what Propsafe is about I would just like to introduce a little about myself over the years. Firstly, I have been interested in everything to do with Landrovers for the past 25-30 years now and I currently own one that I drive on a daily basis. I work on Landrovers as a hobby so that I know every bit of them inside out. Through my interest in Landrovers I have come across people with stories about damage that has been done to Landrovers after the propshaft has broken and also a few horror stories, some that I have witnessed! So, from this Propsafe has been created by myself through ideas, drawings and rigourous tests for the safety of others and their families and friends who drive Landrovers. I have a background in mechanics and welding so this helped me greatly with my design and ideas.
About Propsafe:
Propsafe is a product that I have manufactured to help save lives. The idea of Propsafe is to hold the propshaft in place if it breaks until the Landrover comes to a standstill without doing damage to the vehicle or causing a serious accident or injury especially if the vehicle stops on a dangerous bend on a wet day. By fitting the Propsafe it allows you to drive your Landrover at approximately 5km per hour till you get to a safe place to pull in off the road. If you do not have a Propsafe fitted and the propshaft breaks you will be unable to drive your Landrover to safety. When this happens with the Propsafe fitted you will be able to put the Landrover into diff lock to move it to be recovered. It is mainly the front propshaft that comes off but with the Propsafe it is universal for most and can be put onto the rear of most models as well. If you would like to know more information about Propsafe please contact me to see if it is suitable for your Landrover. Fitting time takes 5-10 minutes when fitted by supplier but may take 15-20 minutes when fitted by someone else for the first time. There has been numerous tests done on the Propsafe so please feel free to ask any questions. Propsafe will also be available in a range of colours.
