Preparing for your NCT
Is your NCT looming? Is it your first time going to an NCT? Here are some of our top tips for getting your car ready for the NCT...
1. Clean your car inside and out and remove any Unnecessary belongings.
2. Check and refill your car's fluids including brake fluid
i, coolant, washer fluid and engine oil.
3. Check your car's tyre pressure, tread depth and inspect them for any damage ... Don't forget to check your spare tyre!
4. Remove your tyre hubcaps for easy access to your tyres.
5. Check your seatbelt for any signs of damage or fraying, make sure they pull out and retract smoothly.
6. Check your headlights, brake lights and indicators are in working order, are clearly visible and are free from any water or moisture inside them.
7. Check your windscreen wipers are in good condition.
8. Don't forget your car's documentation and driver ID.
9. Be on time for your appointment, try to arrive at the test centre 15 minutes before your appointment.
