Crosstown Service Station are currently recruiting for a Part-time Sales Assistant to cover Maternity Leave of up to 1 year.

Evenings and occasional weekend.

Part-time hours: 20.00 – 25.00 per week

Hours – 4:00pm – 9:00pm - hours may vary and candidate must be flexible to work outside these hours.

(Not suitable to someone Currently in Education)

Must have experience in a similar role

Relevant Skills/Experience:

Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated
Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs
Accuracy, attention to detail, organised and flexible
Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
Previous customer service & retail experience is an advantage.

Main Duties:

Always ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority by greeting each customer as if it’s their first visit to the store and consistently deliver an exceptional service
At checkout ensure all transactions are dealt with in a speedy and efficient manner. Actively manage queues
Show a positive attitude and take responsibility for ensuring customers receive an excellent shopping experience
Deal with all customer queries and complaints politely, professionally and consistent with store policy
Carry out stock rotation when merchandising and packing shelves, ensuring that all areas of the store in which you are operating are presented to the highest standard
