Mission Accomplished !!
Greg and I completed the Chicago Marathon today, raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute . A tough run, made more so by extreme humidity and heat for the last 10km but for a fantastic cause.
HUGE THANKS to all of who contributed or shared the link which is still active. Every Euro goes directly to Cancer Research.

Thanks Guys, Had a quick shakeout run by the river in Chicago yesterday to wake up the legs after our flight . Keeping a watchful eye on the weather here in the windy city. On 11th October, our own Louis Byrne and his son Greg line up for 2026 Chicago Marathon, raising money for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

Louis ran the Berlin Marathon for the NBCRI last year and raised over €7,000. This time he isn't running alone. It's Greg's first ever marathon, and together they're going for their biggest fundraising effort yet.

Every euro goes straight to the NBCRI and helps fund vital breast cancer research here in Ireland.

We know almost everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way. If you can spare a few euro, it'll carry them through those last tough miles in the Windy City. 💪 And even if you can't, share the post anyway !
