Condolences to PJ Wilhare family and friends

Wilhare's Corner on Knockalla has become one of the most famous in Irish motorsport and was named after Cranford man PJ Wilhare, who had a big crash on the corner in 1970 and who has sadly passed away

👋 It’s Farewell for Now 👋

After a great few years where:
✅ We were part of the Irish Hillclimb & Sprint Championship

✅ We celebrated the Donegal MotorClub founding event the 50th annivsary of the Hillclimb with an extended entry

✅ We introduced the Danny Gormley Memorial Award

✅ We brought live commentary back to Knockalla

✅ Introduced Drone coverage for all competitors

✅ Was the first championship round to have the new virtual chicane

✅ Left the Hillclimb in a healthy position as supported by the club accounts at the last weeks AGM

There is no “i” in team. This only happened with the great support from club members, competitors, volunteers, residents, sponsors, Motorsport Ireland & the emergency services. Thank you from all the team.

This week we left everything back to HQ.

As was said during the AGM we are only caretakers for the next & we hand things over to this years COCs are the John Crumlish & Johnny Baird so it’s over to you now guys 👍
