Delighted with how today’s Irish Guide Dogs test drive event went — a great day all round.

We had 27 test drives, which means €1,620 raised for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind — €30 donated by Ford and another €30 from Downey’s Centra for every test drive completed.

A massive thanks to everyone who came along, took a drive and supported the event. Also a huge thanks to all the Irish Guide Dogs volunteers who gave up their time and made the day what it was.

And of course, thanks to the real stars of the show — Wolf, Siout and Elf 🐾

Brilliant support from everyone and a great result for a brilliant cause.

Just a reminder to all our customers that our Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Test Drive Event is on tomorrow from 9am–2pm at our new Downey’s Centra store, R32 YN70.

For every test drive completed, Ford will donate €30 and Downey’s Centra will add another €30, meaning €60 goes to Irish Guide Dogs for every drive.

Call in, take a test drive, meet some of the guide dogs and support a brilliant cause.

Hope to see plenty of you there tomorrow! 🐾

Take a FREE test drive in Downeys AutoStop Portlaoise or LYONS of Limerick Dooradoyle this Saturday, and Ford will donate €30!
