Good news for Ford owners.
We can now offer same day service on the 2.0 diesel variants from 2018 onwards.
No more shipping ecus away to be unlocked we can now unlock the ECU in house and map it on the same day saving time and money.
This is a huge break through from Magicmotorsport

Back from from Magicmotorsport HQ this Ford Transit SID212 engine ECU is unlocked and ready for mapping.

We’ve been busy with the 2.0D Ford Transits and Rangers from 2019 onwards since this unlocking service became available last year.

Yesterday we had the task of cloning an engine ECU for a 2015 VW Caddy van. It was the 1.6tdi with the tricky PCR2.1 Continental ECU.

We’ve got the ability to clone these or adapt another ECU to the vehicle using VW main dealer diagnostic tools.
They’re a common failure on many 1.6tdi VAG vehicles due to water ingress thanks to the stupid positioning of them under the wiper panel.

FRM module repaired today for a BMW X1.

These fail all the time in BMW and Minis due to a bad/flat battery in the vehicle.

The data in the module gets corrupted affecting the operation of the electric windows, interior and exterior lights and other functions on the vehicle.

We can reflash the FRM module with its original software which brings these back to life.

We can even do it without the vehicle present just drop in the FRM module or post it to us and we’ll get it back to you ASAP.

Out on the road earlier today in nearby Mountmellick.
This Mercedes C Class had a faulty electronic steering lock which prevented the car from turning on the ignition and as a result the car won’t start.
Luckily we’ve got a solution for that and within a few hours the car was back up and running.
We cater for electronic steering lock failures on many makes and models so if you’re experiencing issues with yours get in touch.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System deactivated on this 2016 Ford Kuga yesterday for a returning customer based in Co. Kildare.

This particular car had 6 tyre pressure monitoring sensors replaced within a short period of time but the warning on the dash kept returning soon afterwards.
Now that it’s disabled the TPMS is no longer active and will not display any warnings for tyre pressure.

It’s back to the old reliable tyre kick now to check for tyre pressure 😂

A returning customer travelled all the way up from Co. Cork last week with this 2018 Range Rover Sport to sort out some Adblue issues that had it stuck in permanent countdown.

Our Adblue software solution was applied and he was back on his way to the Rebel County within a few hours.
