Cheap tuning is the most expensive mistake you’ll ever make. 📉
This week at TorqueMasterTuning, we’ve been playing "clean-up crew" for "tuners" who think a Stage 1 is just a global +10% slider.
The Audi A3 2.0TFSI: Dead after 4k RPM. Why? Half the maps were ignored, and the calibrations were non-existent. We wiped the slate, flashed the ORI, and built a custom file based on real-time logs. Now it pulls hard to the redline with that added pops and bangs.
The BMW 535d (286bhp): A total mess. Zero low-end power and a gearbox that didn't know what gear it wanted. Wrong torque calibrations and missed fuel maps will do that. We built a perfected Stage 1 from scratch. It’s finally the torque monster it was meant to be.
If your car feels "off" after a tune, it’s because it is. Stop settling for percentage gains. Get it calibrated properly.
