The new PartsforCars Irish Rallycross Championship season is about to kick off!

This weekend, October 3rd & 4th, Mondello Park is hosting the opening 2 rounds of the 2026/2027 Winter series.

We've two days of thrilling IRX action ahead of us, on the original Mondello Park Rallycross Track, with strong entries across all of the classes.

PartsforCars Irish Rallycross Championship promoter, Mondello Park, is delighted to announce that Nova Motorsport has been named Official Tyre Partner of the IRX series in a new multi-year agreement. The three-way agreement also includes leading Irish motorsport supplier Euro M-Sport .

From Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2026/27 season, Nova Motorsport becomes the exclusive tyre supplier to three of the championship’s headline classes: Supercar, Super Buggies and FIA Cross Car. Euro M-Sport will attend every IRX event to supply and fit Nova Motorsport tyres for all competitors in these categories, ensuring consistent product and expert trackside support throughout the season.

He’ll be taking our race-prepared Mazda 3 around the National Circuit, looking to set the time to beat.

We’re starting a brand new series at Mondello Park — The Mondello Park Staff Showdown… or Shootout? We’re still working that one out. 👀

The idea is simple: we’re putting our staff to the test to find out who’s the fastest around Ireland’s only international racing circuit. 🏁

The workshop, maintenance team and office will be going head-to-head in timed laps around our National Circuit.

Each contestant will get an out lap, a timed lap and an in lap, with the fastest lap taking the win.

Try and get around as fast as possible. That’s the name of the game.

It’s going to be competitive, it’s going to be intense, and you’ll get to see some of the people behind the scenes who make Mondello Park what it is.

So, who’s going to come out on top?

Welcome back to the 130 Showdown, live from Mondello Park.

After a full weekend celebrating 20 years of James Deane’s drifting journey, it is time for the main event.

The 130 Showdown brings together international stars, Irish champions, familiar rivals and close friends for a once-off celebration of the drivers, cars and community that have made the past two decades so special.

This stream begins with the Top 24 parade before the competition gets underway. From the opening battles through to the Top 16 and the final stages, the drivers will go door to door until our 130 Showdown winner is crowned.

Expect world-class drifting, fierce battles and some extra show elements and surprises dropped in throughout the afternoon.

Who will survive the bracket, reach the final and stand on top of the podium at Mondello Park?

This weekend celebrates 20 years of James Deane’s incredible drifting journey, and we're bringing together the drivers, cars, friends and fans who helped shape the story, alongside some of the biggest names in drifting from Ireland and around the world.

Our first Sunday stream begins with the official 130 Showdown show intro before the drivers take to the track for Superlap Qualifying.

With the track to themselves and everything resting on one committed run, each driver must deliver the speed, angle, line, precision ... and most importantly, style, needed to make their mark ahead of this afternoon’s main competition.
