Leaky Bum Bum! after trying to seal the tank after it ejected itself from the rear of the car in Q3. Paddy Bateman and Pilib Ó Chléirigh checked it out yesterday and there is no saving the tank. 😪 you can see the hairline crack where the filler pipe meets the tank.

"From what we can see the tank mount under the drivers side mounting point was corroded and just failed over the bump unfortunately"

There was speculation that Sean Manning had made contact with Pat Masterson over the weekend! After hours of internal IRX BMW 120d Cup investigations we can confirm it with certainty as a peice of Pats bumper was found jammed under Séans headlight 🤣🤣🤣.

Spot checks for ecu tuning, diff ratios, gear ratios, weight occur randomly throughout the season. Dont get yourself disqualified over something stupid!

Contact in Q1 caused Pilib Ó Chléirigh to miss Q2 due to a bent tie rod and a rear camber arm. Relentlessly himself and Paddy Bateman were flat out and managed to get the car back on the grid for Q3. As luck wasnt on their side the fuel tank strap failed over the bump in rallycross 2 resulting in the fuel tank cracking and causing a fuel leak. Phil sacrificed his final to give Paddy a chance to compete in round 2 but couldn't get the tank to seal.
These lads are 100% committed and we look forward to seeing them on the grid in November.
