💥Congratulations to Peter on completing his Progression Module 5 from A1 to A2! 🏍️😎💥
I first met Peter when he was just 16, doing his A1 IBT. I swear I only blinked once and somehow he turned 18. He grew taller, wiser and into a proper young man... while I, of course, haven't aged a single day. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😅
Peter is a born biker. No debate, no discussion. If every student had his natural talent, I'd probably be looking for a new career. Thankfully, most of you like to keep me employed. 😉
Today's lesson didn't feel like training at all. It was more like a spin with a mate around the Curragh. The scary part? Peter still remembered things I taught him two years ago, while I struggle to remember what I had for lunch yesterday. Fair play, young man!
It was brilliant catching up with you and seeing how much you've grown as a rider. Moments like these make this job so rewarding, and I couldn't be prouder to have been part of your biking journey.
Now go and enjoy that new machine... and hurry up, because I want to see it! Safe riding, Peter. Miles of smiles and keep the shiny side up! 😎🏍️

‼️FIRST ATTEMPT ‼️
Massive congratulations to Arno on passing his motorcycle test in Naas today at the FIRST ATTEMPT! 🏍️🥳
Not so long ago Arno arrived for his IBT having never sat on a motorcycle before. He was understandably a little nervous, but within the first hour I knew he had natural talent. I even managed to forgive him for being a lifelong cyclist on one of those push race bikes. 😅
Trying to be the responsible adult, Arno had already ordered himself a sensible Kawasaki 500. I told him it was a mistake because he wouldn't keep it for long. As usual... I was right. A month later he showed up on a beautiful Suzuki 8R. Funny how that works!
The test was really just a formality. Arno rode brilliantly and passed with only one tiny mistake. You put in the work, practised hard and made your instructor very proud.
Huge congratulations, Arno. Enjoy every mile, stay safe and keep that smile going. Welcome to the full licence club! 🏍️😎

‼️Massive congratulations to Glen and Jordan on surviving... sorry, completing your IBT this weekend! 😎🏍️
Whoever ordered the weather deserves a lifetime ban from forecasting. Saturday felt less like motorcycle training and more like an audition for a survival documentary. Slow manoeuvres in that heat? Character building, apparently. The lads were incredibly brave, trying their very best not to complain. Thankfully I had enough complaining for all three of us. Fair is fair. 😅
People always say sunshine is perfect for biking. Absolute nonsense. We drank enough water to refill Blessington Lakes and spent every opportunity hiding in the shade like two vampires and one very grumpy instructor.
From the very first few exercises I could see both Glen and Jordan had natural talent. Saturday morning started with a few wobbles, but by Sunday they were confidently cruising around County Kildare, with a well deserved lunch stop in Blessington and smiles that somehow survived both the heat and my endless yapping.
The progress over just two days was seriously impressive and I honestly couldn't be prouder. Thank you both for your stamina, focus, great attitude and for somehow resisting the urge to leave me behind at the first set of traffic lights. I know the temptation was there. 😂
Now it's time to get those own bikes, put everything into practice and enjoy every single mile. Ride safe, keep the shiny side up and I'll be expecting to see you both back for the pretest... where the real fun begins. 😉🏍️

‼️Huge congratulations to Niladri on getting his IBT reinstated! 🏍️😎

That means another two years to enjoy that gorgeous bike and, hopefully, finally stop finding excuses not to book that test. 😅

It was brilliant to see Nil back again, smiling from ear to ear as always. Unfortunately for him, that also meant another healthy dose of Rules of the Road. I'm fairly sure his ears are still ringing after listening to me explaining observations, road positioning and all the other exciting bedtime stories. You're welcome! 😂

It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with such a lovely gentleman. I genuinely can't wait for the message saying, "I've got my test date!" because that means we get to do it all over again. More pretests, more riding and, of course, even more Rules of the Road. Lucky you! 😅

Stay safe, keep practicing, enjoy every single mile and don't leave that test booking until the week before your IBT expires again...! 😉

Happy biking and miles of smiles! 🏍️

Congratulations to Seamus and Robert on smashing your IBT renewal! 🏍️😎
Life has a funny way of getting in the way of our grand motorcycle plans and somehow two years disappeared before either of you got around to the test. Don't worry, you're definitely not the first and you certainly won't be the last. It happens to the best of us.
I only met Seamus last Sunday and today he casually rolled in on his gorgeous Africa Twin like he'd been hiding it from me all along. Plenty of experience, loads of skill and the bike wasn't too bad either. 😅
Robert is a familiar face. We first met two years ago on his very first IBT. Back then I could already see the talent. Today I met a more experienced, responsible rider who's getting ready to commute to college on his own bike. That's a serious upgrade from the learner days.
Yesterday was all about polishing riding positions, sharpening observations and enjoying a cracking spin around the Kildare roads. There was plenty of learning, plenty of laughs and thankfully nobody managed to give me a heart attack.
Thanks for the patience, the great attitude and the constant smiles. Now there are no more excuses. Get those tests booked, keep practicing and finish the job properly.
Wishing you both miles of smiles, safe adventures and I'll be expecting to see those pass certificates very soon. No pressure... well, maybe just a little. 😉🏍️

‼️FIRST ATTEMPT ‼️
Massive congratulations to Ian on passing his motorcycle test today at the FIRST ATTEMPT! 🏍️🥳
Ian came to me at the end of last year for his IBT renewal and that's when the mission began. The test date eventually arrived, we got a few pretest lessons under our belts and, in between them, I spent an impressive amount of energy trying to convince him that practising was actually a good idea.
Unfortunately, Ian has mastered the art of being completely unbothered. Every suggestion was met with the same legendary response... "It'll be grand." 😅 Little by little I started losing hope that my motivational speeches were achieving anything.
Well... today Ian proved me completely wrong.
He arrived at the test centre relaxed, smiling, full of confidence and already planning the trip to Spain. In his head, the bike was already strapped onto the ferry before the examiner had even said, "You passed." 😂
He rode exactly the way he needed to. Calm, smooth and full of confidence. Those are the tests instructors never forget, because everything just comes together at the right moment.
Ian, I'm absolutely delighted for you and incredibly proud of your performance today. You've earned every bit of that licence.
Now stop talking about Spain and actually go there! Wishing you countless adventures, endless smiles and many happy miles. Ride safe and enjoy every second of it. 🏍️😎

‼️Massive congratulations to Wayne and John on completing your IBT over the weekend! 🏍️😎‼️
Every great biker starts somewhere and, just to keep things interesting, we kicked off with a few wobbles. Thankfully, the lads got those out of the way pretty quickly. Day one was all about the basics, slow control and, of course, surviving several hours of my world famous yapping. Somehow they managed.
Day two began with a healthy dose of Rules of the Road. I have to give special mention to poor Wayne, who came dangerously close to using the classroom as a place for a Sunday morning nap. Fair play, he stayed awake... mostly. 😴😂
Once we finally escaped onto the public roads, everything started to click. Junctions were handled with confidence, roundabouts were nearly textbook, and after the first blast of wind trying to rip their heads off, both lads realised that's just part of the fun of motorcycling.
The sheep in the Curragh gave us their usual judgemental looks, Kilcullen welcomed us, Newbridge survived our visit and, somehow, even Naas behaved itself for a change.
Two days later we finished exactly how every IBT should end. Tired, smiling and all still in one piece.
Wayne and John, it was a pleasure teaching you both. Congratulations again, enjoy every single mile, stay safe and hopefully I'll see you both out on the road very soon. Welcome to the addiction! 🏍️😎

‼️FIRST ATTEMPT ‼️
Massive congratulations to Vlad on passing his motorcycle test today! 🏍️🥳
It all started last year when his brother Aleks smashed his own motorcycle test. It clearly runs in the family because not long afterwards Vlad turned up for his January IBT. It didn't take long to discover that he had a natural talent for bikes. The only sensible thing left to do was to buy himself a gorgeous machine and catch the biking bug properly😎
Being an ADI himself, Vlad knows exactly what it means to have a bursting diary with students and very little time to breathe. That is exactly why motorcycles are such a dangerous hobby. They become the perfect excuse to disappear for "just an hour" and somehow return half a day later with a massive smile.
Training Vlad was an instructor's dream. Every bit of advice was taken on board, every correction was put into practice, and he approached everything with the professionalism you'd expect from someone who teaches for a living. It almost felt unfair how easy he made my job.😅
Today he went into the test calm, confident and fully prepared, and the result speaks for itself. Another ADI brother has officially joined the fully licensed biker club.
I couldn't be prouder of you, Vlad. Welcome properly to the MBA biking family. Hopefully from now on we'll meet less in the test centre and more on the road for a good spin and plenty of laughs.
Many happy miles, enjoy every adventure, and keep that smile under the helmet. You've earned every bit of it! 😎🏍️

Massive congratulations to Michael on smashing his motorcycle test at the FIRST ATTEMPT! 🏍️🥳

Michael only recently joined us for his IBT renewal with Ivan, followed by two pretest lessons with myself. It didn't take long to realise this man was hiding a proper rider behind that calm smile. Some people make an instructor earn every penny. Michael did the exact opposite.

Being a teacher definitely helped. He listened, took everything on board, asked the right questions and, most importantly, actually did what he was told. If only everyone made life that easy! I was almost starting to wonder if I was even needed. No drama, no panic, no unnecessary excitement. Just plenty of laughs, loads of confidence and solid riding from start to finish.

Massive well done, Michael. It was an absolute pleasure working with you. Enjoy every mile, stay safe, keep that smile, and I'll see you out on the road soon. Your instructor couldn't be prouder! 😎🏍️

‼️Massive congratulations to Edvin on smashing his motorcycle test today! 🏍🔥‼️
Some people turn up for their test on a nice, sensible bike. Edvin looked at those people, laughed, and arrived on an absolute battleship. Whoever has the courage to do a U turn on a machine that size deserves a medal before the test even starts. 😅
Edvin came to me for his IBT renewal and not long after that the test date landed. Every single lesson he got better, smoother and more confident. Honestly, it was ridiculous how much he improved every time I saw him. By test day there was no panic, no drama, just a big smile and the confidence of a man who knew exactly what he was doing.
That famous U turn on that massive bike? Piece of cake. Not a wobble, not a complaint, just another job done. There was simply no stopping him today.
A pass with just one tiny mistake, which is hardly worth mentioning. The examiner probably spent longer looking for something to write down than Edvin spent worrying about the test.
I'm absolutely delighted for you, Edvin. You should be incredibly proud of yourself because I certainly am. Thank you for making your instructor look good! 😎
Enjoy every mile, stay safe and I'll see you out on the road. 🏍
