We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our friend and former colleague Edmundas, Eddie was a valued member of the Mileage Tyres team in Galway for 14 years.

Our deepest sympathies are with his wife Vilma, his children Liepa and Ema, and all of his family and friends at this very difficult time

Edmundas will be greatly missed by us all.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Although Fionnán was unfortunately unable to attend Croke Park, we were delighted that another young Galway supporter from University Hospital Galway was able to enjoy the experience in his place.

A heartfelt thank you to Galway GAA captain Darren Morrissey for taking the time to record a special message for Fionnán. We know it meant a great deal and helped brighten a difficult time.

We’d also like to recognise our own Padraic Keating, who helped make the day possible.

We wish Fionnán and the patient who got to attend in his place a full and speedy recovery from everyone at Mileage Tyres. ♥️

We would also like to commend Michael's Fan Club on the fantastic work they do brightening children’s lives at the most difficult times. Well done 👏

So nice of Galway GAA captain Darren Morrissey to send a lovely message to our friend Fionnan who’s sadly stuck in Crumlin Hospital for today’s game – who knows, maybe the team will be paying him a visit tomorrow?? Big thanks too to Padraic Keating of Mileage Tyres in Mullingar for getting an 11-year old fan and patient of University Hospital Galway to Croke Park Stadium this afternoon – it made his day!

Everyone at Mileage Tyres would like to wish our MD, Frank McDonagh, the very best of luck for his President’s Prize this weekend at Mullingar Golf Club. A fantastic achievement and a well deserved honour. We hope it’s a memorable and a great weekend of golf for all involved.

This weekend sees President Frank McDonagh’s Prize to the men. Competition qualifying round takes place Saturday and Sunday through 1pm. The 9-hole final round for the Top 27 and ties takes place at 6pm on Sunday evening (Shotgun start).
