Yesterday morning, Saturday 29.8.2026, we had the privilege of welcoming Senator Aubrey McCarthy 🇮🇪, Oklahoma State Senators Mary Boren and Nikki Nice and Pennsylvania State Senator Devlin Robinson 🇺🇸 to Barack Obama Plaza. 🤝🌍

Our guests enjoyed a tour of the Plaza, visited the museum on the first floor 🏛️📚 and, naturally, stopped for the essential photograph with Barack and Michelle - who remained impressively diplomatic throughout ! 😂📸

After the museum and photographs, there was just one item left on the Moneygall itinerary - an early pint at Ollie Hayes Bar ! 🍻☘️ All in the name of following the presidential trail, naturally. 😉

It was an absolute pleasure to host such a warm and good-humoured group. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your visit to Moneygall! 😊🇮🇪🇺🇸

We had the privilege of welcoming the newly crowned North Tipperary U12 B Hurling Champions, Moneygall, to Barack Obama Plaza following their fantastic victory in Cloughjordan today ! 🏆🎉🥳❤️🖤

It was an absolute pleasure to look after the players and coaches and to share in their celebrations after such a brilliant achievement ! 🙌👏🌟

We are delighted to recognise two fantastic members of our team whose hard work and dedication made a real difference throughout July.

In the top photo is Leo, our Retail Employee of the Month for July 2026, pictured with Niall and Tomas. Leo does an excellent job behind the scenes, particularly receiving, sorting and organising our deliveries. His hard work helps to keep everything organised and ensures that our retail operation continues to run smoothly. Much of this important work happens away from the customer-facing areas, but it certainly does not go unnoticed !

In the bottom photo is Elroy, our Supermac’s Employee of the Month for July 2026, pictured with Lavio and Tomas. Elroy has been recognised for the great customer service he provides and for helping to create a friendly and welcoming experience for our customers. His positive and helpful approach is a valuable contribution to the whole team.

A huge congratulations to Leo and Elroy on these well deserved awards. Thank you both for your continued hard work, commitment and contribution to the team - we truly appreciate everything you do ! 👏🎉
