Right after I fire our marketing department for not doing their job of course. Lyons Garages was set up in the late 1960s on a fine Summer's day. Seriously though, that day was so lovely out, that if I was there I'd probably have got burnt. Either from the BBQ or
the sun. Based in West Clare along with the older brother Lyons Travel, we are a small family business specialising in the restoration, rebuilding and servicing of Classic Minis, MGs, Triumphs, Fords, Jaguar, Porsche *deep breath* aaaaand many more classic sports cars. You name it, we can Google it. Thanks to a bit of construction work in 2015, we're now in probably the largest dedicated classic car garage in Ireland. We undertake all restoration work, large or small. From baby rust repairs right through to complete restoration projects. We carry out sand & bead blasting, rust treatment and also under-body and cavity wax sealing. With backgrounds in Design and Engineering, we'll not only make your machine work well, but my word will it look good. It's a bit beyond the ol' lick of paint be grand jobs! Basically we like to make ugly things pretty... What can I say - We're shallow people. All our work is fully documented & photographed. Our aim is to complete all work to the highest possible standard, whether it be a full concours style build or an everyday classic.
