It is the perfect car to learn in – nice size, comfortable and a dream to drive. A message from the RSA came in today. Hopefully good news for those awaiting driving tests.

"Over the past few months, we have been working on a series of changes to the MyRoadSafety portal. These changes were implemented last Wednesday evening and in short relate to rescheduling or cancelling a booked driving test. We also introduced a mechanism for a customer to leave the waiting list and withdraw their application should they no longer wish to sit a driving test.

The RSA website has been updated to reflect same. Please see Manage your driving test booking with the RSA and Terms and conditions (rsa.ie) which has a full explanation of options available to customers.

The changes also provide much clearer signposting and improved messaging to customers when they are on the portal and it is hoped that these changes will remove much of the confusion that we saw impacted customers previously.
