Murphys Tyre & Repairs Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Motor Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Listowel, Co. Kerry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in the motor industry to begin a rewarding career while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a busy and professional workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting qualified mechanics with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Learning vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding procedures
• Working on tyres, brakes, suspension, and general mechanical repairs
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following workshop health and safety procedures
• Attending apprenticeship training and completing required coursework
Requirements:
• Strong interest in motor vehicles and mechanics
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Full driving licence is an advantage but not essential
