West Coast Landing Craft Ltd. First Vessel the “Ard Ri”- Landing Craft/Multicat, was designed by Niall O Hara Naval Arc. and fabricated and constructed at Mescall Bros Kilrush Co. Clare Clare.

West Coast Landing Craft Ltd. was established on 09/03/2015 in Kilrush Co. The Four Company Directors Thomas Burke, Gerry Culligan, Gerard Hamilton and Diarmuid Whelan are all natives of West Clare on the banks of the Shannon Estuary. The directors bring a wide range of strengths and experience to the company in areas which include: Business Development, Engineering, Fabrication, Marine Operations

, Sales and Project Management. The Company’s first Vessel the “Ard Ri”- Landing Craft/Multicat, was fabricated and constructed at Mescall Brothers Engineering Kilrush. The Keel was laid in early May 2015 and the build was supervised and inspected throughout by the Department of the Marine Cork office. Where possible all parts and services were sourced locally in West Clare as one of the company’s core principals is to support local business and jobs. Our Vessels are crewed locally by experienced and qualified personnel and are available for work at short notice.
