It was the kvvccc Autumn run today in kenmare, and what a great day to have a run around the beara peninsula,
Unfortunately I couldn't take part in the run, but I did turn up at the hotel to see the cars, meet people and collect my starter pack.
There is something nice about pre-registering for a run and collecting the program with all the entrants listed and all the other little bits of info that comes with it,
It's certainly extra work for the club and is something that only a few do now, but it adds a bit of quality to the event, it's easy to know the club has been going strong for nearly 50 years.
I'm sure everyone is having a great weekend and hopefully I will participate fully next time
