In our home, we prioritize the father and son dynamic.
If the husband is outside working on something, our boys are right there with him. Not inside on a tablet. Not watching from a window. He’s out there learning.
Oil changes, fixing broken parts, house upkeep, or whatever else it may be. They’re out there. Watching. Learning. Helping however he can. Being involved and being taught.
Because boys need to see the physical, hands on side of a man’s role.
They need to watch their dad problem solve, build, repair, take responsibility, and show up for his family.
Not just for their future marriage, but for fatherhood as well.
For the example they’ll carry into adulthood.
For the habits they’ll one day pass down to their own kids.
We’re not raising boys who can’t do anything for themselves.
We’re raising men who know how to step up.
Men who take pride in real skills.
Men who aren’t helpless the moment something breaks.
That starts by letting them learn side by side with their dad.
