Not every job is a fancy car or a ceramic coating. I take just as much pride in my Full Detail Valets and deep cleans, and my returning customers are a huge part of the business.

This Citroën Berlingo received a deep clean inside and out, along with a single-stage machine polish to tackle heavy oxidation and restore gloss.

Interiors in this condition can be challenging, and you can't always get everything perfect, which can be frustrating as a detailer. The goal is to get the vehicle looking as good as possible, and the pricing reflects the quality of the work and the process involved.

✨ Another transformation completed at Looney’s Pristine Detailing!

This Citroën Berlingo received a thorough deep clean, tackling built-up dirt and grime throughout the interior, including the flooring, footwells, seats and dashboard. 🧼

The exterior received a full decontamination followed by a single-stage machine polish, removing a heavy layer of oxidation and restoring clarity, gloss and a much fresher finish to the paintwork. ✨

From the interior deep clean to the exterior paint enhancement, this van received the attention it deserved!

Being self-sufficient for the last 6 years, running a business entirely on my own, with no team running around for me, isn’t an easy task. 💪

I get asked a lot, “When is the right time to take the leap and go full-time?”

Honestly? There’s never a perfect time.

My advice? If you’re working a 9–5 and dreaming of starting your own business, save your money first. Aim to have at least 6 months of living expenses saved before making the jump.

Work your arse off every weekend. Build your client base, get your name out there, build your reputation and learn as much as you can while you still have that regular income coming in.

Then, when you’ve built a solid foundation, take the leap.

It won’t be easy. There’ll be good weeks, bad weeks, stress, sacrifices and times when you question yourself.

But being your own boss and building something of your own is a different feeling altogether.

There’s never a perfect time. Prepare yourself, put the work in and take the risk when the time is right for you. 👊

📢 BUSINESS UPDATE

Just a quick update for everyone. Unfortunately, my health hasn't been great this week and I've been quite unwell, which has meant I've had to cancel/reschedule appointments and take a few days away from the workshop.

Being self-employed, it's incredibly frustrating having to do this, especially when customers have booked in and people are calling or calling to the workshop for viewings/enquiries. I really don't like letting anyone down, but unfortunately sometimes your health has to come first.

I'm hoping to be back to normal next week and will get everyone who has been affected rescheduled as quickly as possible.

I really appreciate everyone's patience, understanding and continued support.

🚙 1996 Toyota Hilux Surf | Paint Correction + 1-Year Ceramic Coating

This 1996 Toyota Hilux Surf came in for a paint correction, 1-year ceramic coating and a full interior deep clean.

There was quite a bit of work involved in this one. The goal was to get the paint looking as good as possible, bringing back the gloss and improving the overall finish before applying the ceramic coating.

A proper transformation from start to finish — and definitely one of those jobs where the process makes all the difference. 👌

🚗 Toyota in for its yearly clean & NCT preparation!

This one came in for its annual full valet and a little preparation ahead of the NCT.

As part of the job, we carried out a thorough clean throughout, including the arches, wheels, door shuts, interior and all the usual areas covered in our Full Detail Valet. The headlights were also cleaned and restored to help get the vehicle ready for its test.

It’s always good practice to have your vehicle properly cleaned and checked over before an NCT — especially areas like the lights, wheels, arches and general condition of the vehicle. It can also highlight any issues that may need attention beforehand.
