The Angela McConway Nee Chambers run was set up in memory of my late aunt, who was taken from us at the young age of 38 to cancer π
Like all families who are struck by cancer, we wanted to give something back to the Palliative Care Team & Night Nurses of castlebar who cared for Anglea & our family during the hardest time of our life.
The kindness, care, and compassion from all the team will never be forgotten.
We are very proud to have raised β¬9,450 towards the Palliative Care Services of Mayo roscommon Hospice Foundation, which will provide care services to families when they need it most.
We can't thank people/businesses enough for their generosity, starting from providing the facilities to the spot prizes, right down to the effort of routes and paperwork.
A lot of good work goes into making this all happen & we are lucky to have good people around us π€π€ π€
Angela loved nothing more than family get-togethers,when Angela done things, she done it in style, leaving no stone unturned and leaving no one out, so we chanced integrating all of what Angela loved into our day and it worked fantastic.
We know Angela would be very proud of what we achieved last Sunday, and We can only make it bigger and better every year from now on.
We couldn't have done without the public, and we would be forever thankful.
