I would like to start with thanking the neighbours and people of Hospital for their friendship,loyalty and business over the last 9 years and who supported me and my work colleagues in making McCarthys Garage a very successful business.
The time has come to make a change and I have sold the garage to Simon O’Donnell from Ballylanders who would be well known in the village.
It’s a sad time for me and the family as a lot of work went in over the last 9 years but I know it’s going to be in good hands with Simon &Jack O’Brien will be staying on in the garage and will be very helpful as always,
The same good efficient service will still be the same and everyone will be well looked after by the lads.

I would like to take this time to thank the people that have helped me through the years, Mike Leahy, Andrew Grimes, Jack O’Brien, Joanne McCarthy, Mikey Gleeson, Eamon Davern.

Keep it clean, take your rubbish home with you.

Hi Folks alot of volunteers out the last few weeks cleaning the refuse in the countryside please stop dumping from your cars it doesn't seem right that nappies are being left along the country roads # tidy towns

HERBERTSTOWN AFC - LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

As part of our future club development and as the number of teams and members grow to over 260 members we are now looking at how we can expand our facilities for the future.

We are interested in securing 7 or 8 acres in the locality that will give us our own facilities for matches and training and reduce our need to rent facilities and instead use our funds and future fundraising to create these facilities for our community.
