I totally get that watching and reading the news 24/7 is not good for your mental health but there is something strangely obsessive about it at the moment and you know its not going to be good news... just gets worse and worse.... poor kids, mums and babies...

If anyone else feels the same remember you are not alone, it is good to talk things through. I get that it's really scary at the moment as we can see what is going on but we have no idea or control over what happens next, not a good place for our minds to be

Oh my how inadequate I feel... a lady just came into the garage with a load of items to go to the Ukrainian refugees we are collecting for. She'd just spent €1000 from her savings on sleeping bags, nappies, sanitary towels, masks, PPE to go... incredible, tears...
