Huge well done to Niall McGonigle and Caolan McKenna on winning the Samsonas Rally Fivemiletown.

They sneak the rally victory on the final stage, edging ahead of Vivian Hamill and Lorcan Moore after a brilliant battle all day.

🇪🇸 Freddie Milne. So for this guy I’m so happy to see him with a fantastic result. Try, try and try (but often too hard!) so hopefully after a result like this he can start to relax, and just drive.

Partnered for the first time by Max Freeman, Rallye Busot near Alicante was to be a blast. So in true last min fashion with Monday evening confirmation about the rally from Fred (🤦🏻‍♂️) this would see Martin heading off on his first solo European adventure on Tuesday, arriving in southern Spain late Thursday night ready for Scrut etc.

From the off Fred and Max gelled with the Citroen C3 Rally2 (first time for it too) and set fastest time on stage one and went on to lead the event from start to finish. A small concern when the brakes cooked before the 2nd last stage came to nothing and the pair swept the last two stages to complete the win. 🏆 Top result. Great solo work from Martin all weekend. Thank you!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 So not quite the Costa Blanca and the weather certainly reflected. Kyle Tilley and Martin Brady would carry out a Thursday test @ the Sweet Lamb complex in perpetration for Saturday’s Rally North Wales. Marty McCormack and Barney Mitchell would join the party for the main event starting from Welshpool on Saturday morning, with both crews piloting their historic spec MK2 Escorts.

One million miles away from Kyle's day job driving circuit cars, the progress is coming. Seat time and miles brings improvement. The pair are now getting up there in the mix with the top crews in the British Historic Championship which saw them finishing up 10th in class and 22nd overall.

The bold lads from Magherafelt….. the day was nearly over before it began. A rear puncture on stage one was a bad start and saw considerable time loss but a 🍔n 🍟 each at the lunch halt would see the athletes fuelled for the afternoon. (Protein is the name of the game). Strong afternoon times saw them climb up from 71st to 11th and was just rewards for the day.

Rally week once again - the first one of the year for the team and it’s a double header!

This Saturday sees Ian with Kenny Bustard and Jason with Shane Byrne head to kirkistown for the first round of the NI Championship.

Sunday sees Ashley with Martin Brady and Stephen with Dermot McCafferty kick off the first round of the Irish Forest Rally Championship in Killarney.

A busy weekend but it will be good to get back into the season.

Galway International Rally ‘23 ✅ ✅

With a great start from Dylan @ Stephen after the first loop of stages Saturday morning saw them sit 28th overall and 1st in class. The pair battled on setting great times to finish day 1 22nd overall and 1st in class.
Unfortunately on the first stage Sunday morning the car ground to a halt due to a suspected clutch disc failure. Gutted for the 2 but the pace is definitely there lads.💪

Johnny & Jason got to grips with their new DYTKO SPORT Fiesta Mk2 after day one with a couple of issues such as broken wiper linkage & screen fogging up ironed out the pair sat 62nd O/A and 5th in class. After a couple of adjustments Sunday morning the pair got more comfortable in the car but unfortunately after sitting the car into a small rut on the last stage the pair picked up a puncture knocking them back from 3rd in class and 52nd O/A.

A mixed weekend all round but a lot taken from it. Big thanks to the lads and ladies in service for their hard work, well done.

Next up will be The Midland Stages rally on the 5th of March..😎👍💪
