A ceramic coating is not a “fit and forget” product. Even though cleaning process becomes easier, but has to be done the right way. That is why we always include maintenance training in every package.
No matter what brand is on the car, every coating needs the right maintenance to keep performing the way it should. Without proper care, water behaviour drops, gloss fades, contamination builds up and the investment loses value over time.
What proper maintenance looks like:
👉Use pH neutral products for regular washing. Harsh acidic or highly alkaline products used too often can shorten the life of protection.
👉Use quality maintenance products. Dedicated aftercare sprays, toppers and maintenance shampoos, such as the Modesta maintenance line help keep coatings performing at their best.
👉Check Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Not all chemicals sold for car care are equal. SDS information can tell you a lot about product strength, handling and ingredients. Know what you’re putting on your paint.
👉Wash correctly. Safe wash methods matter just as much as the products you use. Poor technique creates marring and swirls regardless of coating.
👉Book periodic inspections / maintenance. A professional decontamination wash and coating health check can restore performance before issues build up.
