Want to get involved in nitro onraod rc racing but not sure how.
Pm the page and we will help you get started in the fast paced micro motorsport of rc onroad nitro racing.

2 classes available in the club at St Anne's Park raheny Co.dublin where we have the only purpose built 1/8 onraod rc track in the Republic of Ireland.

GT NITRO
The GT nitro car is mainly buggy based converted to onraod with shorter big bore shocks and a 2 speed gearbox conversion these cars are robust, reliable, fast and feature fully adjustable suspension geometry.
Powered typically by a .21 5 port 3.5cc GT nitro engine they produce a huge amount of torque to carry the heavier chassis around the track.
The GT car uses rubber tires either slick or threaded and features a realistic body shell true to the GT class.
The GT class is capable of running in all weather conditions and is the most popular class at the club.

GP NITRO
These cars are considered the formula 1 of the rc world With their light weight frames, fully adjustable suspension geometry and 2 speed gearbox it's easy to see why they are considered the formula 1 of RC.
The cars are typically powered by a .21 3.5cc nitro engine between 7 and 9 ports and will do rpms of 45,000 upward which carry these light weight super agile cars to extremely high speeds.
The GP car runs on foam tires and uses a high sided shell to allow for maximum performance and grip.
The GP car is more suited to dry conditions but is capable of running in wet or damp conditions also.

Cars from both classes can be easily sourced and we are only happy to help point you in the right direction on your micro motorsport journey.

Don't forget folks round 1 of the winter nitro series will be starting Sunday the 6TH OF FEBUARY, first quailfying heat will set off approx 11 am, there will be 3 quailfying heats in each class followed by the finals after lunch.
We hope to see you all there and best of luck to all the competitors.

2022 Is on point to put on some of the best racing in this micro motorsport that st annes has seen in a long time so come along and support the drivers and club.
