Coronavirus Update

Hope you are all keeping safe. We have decided to keep our doors open through this pandemic to assist all of our customers as much as possible. Again whilst in store please respect the guidelines for everyone's safety.

Have you dry skin from continuously washing your hands ? Disposable gloves would be the best solution for you, we have these available in store ranging from latex to Nitrile gloves.

Prices start at €5 for a box of 100. Unbeatable value and will help that dry skin.

Coronavirus Update

Due to HSE recommendations regarding Social Distancing we are asking all of our customers, where possible, to phone in orders for Collection or Delivery.

This measure is to limit the time spent in our store, for the protection of our staff and other customers so we can remain open during this outbreak.

Whilst in store please respect the HSE guidelines in relation to Social Distancing

BRAKE FLUID TIPS

Did you know that the NCT are now paying particular attention a brake fluid testing ?? They are failing vehicles on “dirty brake fluid”,but what does this mean ??

Your car brake system is a sealed unit therefore you should not use/go through brake fluid. Reasons for low brake fluid are usually a leak or low brake pads/discs.

Brake fluid is hygroscopic meaning that it absorbs water and can be dangerous if left untreated. Your cars fluid should be changed every 2 to 3 years.

Stay safe and ask for a brake fluid check/change at your nearest service interval

Safety First 👨‍🔧

Axle stands could save your life. Many a time I have seen people, even mechanics jacking cars up and not supporting them.... If you could only see how small the seal is within the jack that is stopping the jack from dropping.

Axle stands are a necessity and should be used every time you jack up a car. There is a couple of options even the foldable type which can be kept in the car using up very little space.
