Hi everyone just wanted to explain a little about what we do here.
Hydrographic dipping also known as immersion printing is a method of applying printed designs to three dimensional surfaces such as metal, plastic, glass, hard woods and various other materials.
The water transferring printing process is extensively used to decorate things that range from vehicle dash boards to Smal items like bike helmets films can be applied through to all types from fibre glass, plastics wood and ceramics if the item can be put in water then it can be hydrographic dipped.
In the process the piece to be printed goes through the entire painting process surface preparation, priming, painting and clear coating. After painting but before clear coat the part is ready to be processed .A polyvinyl alcohol hydrographic film is carefully placed in the dipping tank. The clear film is water soluble and dissolves after applying an activator solution.Once dipping has begun the surface tension of the water will allow the pattern to curve around any shape.Any remaining residue is rinsed off thoroughly. The ink has already adhered and will not wash off. The piece is then left to dry.It is then ready for its final spray of clear coat to give that nice perfect gloss finish
