We were flat out in the workshop today, Honda Civic Ek9 for nct failure on Rust on the sills including a broken bolt 🔩, for injectors. The head has to come off),top of engine), ohh my 😮.

2014 Nissan Qashqai 1.2 Dig Petrol Timing chain replaced before it went out today. There was a fair amount of slack in the chain, hence why the dealer, changed it at 101,000Km. 🤝
We Recommend chain replacement @ 100,000 for this engine.
!!! Renault/Nissan owners, keep on track with the replacements, to avoid ENGINE DAMAGE/FAILURE.

Lads, anyone with a 1.0 ECOBOOST / 1.2 Puretech/Psa engine, do you're wetbelts at 50-70,000Km as they're, not as strong as the dry belts, 100,000+ Lifespan !!!

This one 52,000Km only, look at the strainer, covered in belt fragments. A little longer, and this engine, will be crying, for Oil, and BANG !!!😅

➡️ FAULT : Sounds like a tractor 🚜🤣

➡️ DIAGNOSIS :
We were thinking Timing chain (as common in these engines), but you'll be surprised. 😮
OTHER MECHANIC DIAGNOSIS : TIMING CHAIN

RESULT : Surprisingly, was the A/c pump(Pulley), causing trouble. NEW PUMP FITTED 💪😎
