Hey guys... Today we will be answering questions about the driving test in Ireland. All these questions came from the private whatsapp group. The whatsapp group is for members of my youtube channel and for students of my school.

Question- in relation to what the tester wants to see
GOSHO....does progress come into this , EG can we be marked for taking too much time moving off / or not enough οΏ½
Passed today in Deansgrange - cheers for all the videos Anthony wouldn't have gotten there without them - some amount of effort on your side and greatly appreciated.
He went right out of the center and up around those estates up to the right of Avondale road for the turnabout and reverse around the corner - back around through the new road, through the estates in Johnston there and back to the center.
Really sound tester and I think he did his best to pass me too, sound head.
Got a mark for not progressing after my turnabout from parked position - he asked me to progress - I could see there was someone was halfway through their turnabout during their test right ahead and didnt wanna put them off.
He had to push me to progress but said it was safe to do so afterwards and I shouldn't have waited.
Said I was looking too much to the right when turning left, one look is ok, I was looking a few times and he wasn't clear if I was looking where I was going.
I need some suggestions for best time for driving test?
Some people suggested that avoid morning time 8am -9:30am
Evening time 4pm -6pm
1.When driving around roadworks- are we expected to continue driving the speed limit displayed eg 50? Or weβre expected to slow down maybe to 30kmh if itβs a 50 zone. Even if the road is clear?
2.when driving from an area of higher speed limit to lower speed limit, are we expected to match the lower speed as we enter into the zone? Or we are okay to continue slowing down for first few seconds. For
Example going from 60 zone to 50 zone are we okay entering the zone at 56 then slowly slowing down to 50? or 50 zone to 30 zone.. etcβ¦
Also when going from lower speed zone to higher speed zone. Are we expected to match the speed from the moment we enter the higher zone or itβs okay to only start increasing the speed as we enter the higher speed zone. Eg from 50 to 60 or 60 to 80.. etc
Also: when reversing around the corner - are we expected to stop if you the pedestrians are across the road or only if they are walking towards or close to
the car? Like how far of a distance between us the pedestrian/ other vehicles are we supposed to be cautious of?
