Rebuilding a set of bandit 400 carbs tonight.
I never took any before pictures of these but they were really dirty inside and out. One of the carb tops was broken. 2 of the float needle valves weren't sealing and one of the link seals was leaking.
Everything was stripped, cleaned, ordered a quality viton rubber seal kit, new carb top and some new screws to replace the old rusty ones.

I love a good bodge when I see one 🤣
A Tl1000s I bought recently had a leaking sump bolt. The original bolt had been overtightened and stripped the threads. The previous repair consisted of a sawn off oversize bolt, badly cut threads,
plumbers ptfe tape, a copper washer, silicone sealer and chemical metal to top it all off 🤣
Removed all the chemical metal and sealer. Repaired the threads in the casing and fitted a new drain plug.
Much better 👌

A friend of mine dropped this er6 in for a few small jobs.
Repaired a leaky sump nut.
Removed the aftermarket exhaust and refitted the standard system as he's doing his test on the bike soon and wanted it to be a bit quieter.
Replaced the clutch cable and also a missing pivot spacer on the clutch lever.
A final general check over and she's ready to go!

Yz450 we had in mixing coolant with the engine oil. Found the water pump seals had failed. Also found excessive wear on the impeller shaft and bearing.
All parts replaced, coolant system flushed, engine oil and filter changed. Good to go👍

Bandit 1200 turbo engine ready for reassembly.
Fitting gen 1 hayabusa pistons so will bring displacement to 1216cc but will also drop the compression suitable to run the turbo.
All quality aftermarket and genuine parts used and also tidied everything up with some gloss enamel paint.

Another one of our own machines is this mk1 Bandit 1200. This one came from the lads in Kidd Motorcycles. After sorting some very minor cosmetic damage we fitted a full akrapovic exhaust system, harris rearsets, a maxton shock and a custom made seat from grizzly adams in the uk.

This is one of our current project bikes.
It started out life as a gsx750 inazuma, now fitted with gsx1100 efe bodywork and will also be swapping in a bandit 1200 engine. Just collecting a few more parts for this one before we can start building it back up. Should see some more progress towards the end of summer all going to plan.
