Had this E-Class Coupe in with the automatic closing boot not working.
After checking power going to the motor, we noticed there was none. After testing for breaks along the wiring loom, we found a corroded multi plug.
Removed, rewired, and now working good as new again 👌

Got a phone call from a customer reporting a bad rattle noise and asking if we could take a look.
The customer arrived Monday morning — after a quick listen and plugging the car into our STAR diagnostic system, we quickly realised the timing chain was at fault.

This is usually caused by a lack of servicing… as you can see from the condition of the air filter.
The car has now received:

✅ Full service
✅ New timing chain kit fitted

Another happy customer back on the road.

Had this C-Class in for a full service. While chatting with the customer, he mentioned a rattle coming from the front end and asked if we could take a look at it as well.
Once we got it in the air, we found both front arms were completely worn out — both the bushes and ball joints were finished.
Fitted new front arms, carried out the full service, and now it’s driving exactly as it should. Another one sorted and ready for the road. 🚗✅

This Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI came in with a noticeable loss of power. Following a smoke test, we identified a significant leak within the intake system 😳
A replacement manifold was supplied and fitted, and a final smoke test was carried out to confirm the repair had fully resolved the issue.
Vehicle performing as it should again and ready to go ✅

From experience, these issues are commonly caused by a faulty rear wheel speed sensor or a worn wheel bearing. After initial diagnostics, I identified the fault as being on the rear left side.
The fault code would not clear, indicating a likely hardware issue. I recommended replacing the sensor and advised the customer that the wheel bearing could also be contributing to the problem, as the reluctor ring is integrated into the hub on these models.
The customer opted to proceed with both repairs. Following replacement, the fault was successfully resolved and the vehicle is now back on the road operating as it should—no further issues.
A good example of accurate diagnosis and preventative repair saving time and avoiding repeat visits

Battery light illuminated? Steering suddenly gone heavy? These are warning signs that should never be ignored.
We recently had this Volvo into the workshop with a battery warning light on the dashboard and no power steering assistance. After carrying out a full inspection, we quickly identified multiple faults causing the issue.
The alternator was no longer charging correctly, which was responsible for the battery light coming on and risking the vehicle being left stranded. We also found the power steering pump pulley had badly deteriorated and failed, preventing the steering system from operating as it should. In addition to that, a smaller idler pulley was also damaged and required immediate replacement.
We supplied and fitted brand new quality replacement parts, carried out the necessary repairs, and thoroughly checked the system to ensure everything was operating correctly once again.
The result — this vehicle was back to full health, driving properly, and ready to get back to the daily school run. 🔧🚗
