We're heartbroken at Tipp Tyres following the sudden passing of our dear friend, colleague and mentor Monty Power. Words can't sum up the remarkable man he was and the impact he had on us all.
As we take time to mourn and to honour his memory we will be closed Thursday 25th.

Tractor pulling returns to Dualla this year with round 4 of the Irish Tractor Pulling Committee championship. This event is kindly sponsored by Lyons Tyre Services Thurles. Pictured is "Red thunder" - a Massey Ferguson 699. Owned, built and driven by Tony Heffernan from Co.Carlow. The engine is a 1000 series Perkins with a ported head modified camshaft and pistons. Its injector pump is 13mm delivering over 1200cc of fuel. The injectors and turbo are also designed and built by Tony and it runs an ice bank intercooler. It has a modified multi-power gear box and the clutch set up is a crower 3 plate full steel assembly.
