📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE

Dear Customers,

Due to the continued rise in fuel and travelling costs, we have unfortunately had to review the cost of inspections carried out at locations further from our base.

With immediate effect, inspections located more than 50 km from our base will be subject to an additional travel surcharge.

The surcharge will be calculated based on the distance involved and will be confirmed with the customer before the inspection is booked.

We have always tried to keep our inspection charges as reasonable as possible while providing a professional nationwide service. However, with increasing fuel and operating costs, longer-distance inspections are no longer sustainable at our standard inspection rate alone.

We apologise for any inconvenience and sincerely appreciate our customers' understanding and continued support.

🌍 INTERNATIONAL MOTORHOME INSPECTIONS 🇮🇪🚐
Thinking of buying a motorhome or campervan in the UK or Europe?
Automotive Inspection Services now offers specialist international motorhome inspections, carried out by an Irish automotive inspector — giving you an independent professional assessment before you commit to purchasing abroad.
Whether the vehicle is in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy or elsewhere in Europe, we can travel to the vehicle and inspect it on your behalf.
🔧 Our inspections can include:
Engine & drivetrain
Transmission & road test
Chassis, suspension, steering & brakes
Electrical systems
Tyres, wheels & underside
Fluid levels & leaks
Habitation area
Damp & water-ingress testing
Pre-purchase and second-hand motorhome checks
Import inspections
⚠️ Please note: Gas systems are not inspected and should be checked separately by a suitably qualified gas engineer.
Buying abroad can mean travelling hundreds or even thousands of kilometres to view a vehicle. Have it professionally inspected before making the journey or committing to the purchase.
