Grass, grass and more grass

It's that time of year when if you're involved in the agri sector, you're likely flat out cutting. This brings with it time pressures and that can cause risk taking. Speeding, driving too fast for conditions and distracted driving all lead to bad outcomes whether you're in a Micra or a John Deere. Please also be mindful that plough lights, essential for night field work must NEVER be used on a public road.
Other motorists, make allowances, don't do silly dangerous overtakes, be aware and be patient.
We all share the road.

Just reading the report from the rsa, 71% single cyclist collisions. Training is definitely necessary especially before learning to drive a vehicle.

The Road Safety Authority today published a new report highlighting the scale and nature of serious injuries sustained by cyclists on Irish roads, while also announcing the launch of a national survey aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the circumstances of cyclist injury collisions.

Published during Bike Week, the RSA’s Serious Injuries Among Cyclists report examines the characteristics and trends associated with serious cyclist injuries in Ireland using both An Garda Síochána collision data and hospital admissions data.
