The infamous Ford Wet Belt.
A common problem in newer Fords. The timing belt runs inside the engine and is submerged in oil, often the oil perishes the rubber belt prematurely causing engine failure. The only way to prevent this is short service intervals with correct oil as well as early belt replacement intervals. Our service includes:

BMW N47 Timing Chain Replacement

A well known issue with the BMW 2 litre diesel engines.
We carried out the following:

✅ OE quality timing chain kit
✅ New Rocker cover
✅ All associated gaskets and seals replaced

We only use high quality parts along side correct tools and follow manufacturer’s guidelines with correct torque settings. All to ensure a quality repair for many more happy miles 🚗

2013 onwards Opel/Vauxhall 1.6 diesel timing chain replacement carried out this week.
These engines suffer with premature failure of the timing chain. This particular vehicle was recovered in after oil pump chain had snapped with only 60k miles on the clock, luckily this didn't cause engine damage as engine was stopped immediately.
Full timing chain kit fitted with associated gaskets etc. ✅️
Unfortunately the timing chain is in the gearbox side of the engine so the job is pretty labour intensive 👨‍🔧
It essential for these engines to be serviced with correct grade oil (0w20 in this case) to prevent such failure. If your engine doesn't sound as it should give us a call!

2019 Peugeot 1.2 Petrol Wet Timing Belt replacement carried out today. If you have a petrol Peugeot/Citroen/Opel of similar year and approaching 100,000 kms get in touch. Common issue with these is the timing belt breaking up and causing oil starvation within the engine.

✅ Oil sump removed and oil pick up cleaned which contained parts of the old belt.
✅ Genuine timing belt kit supplied and fitted including all necessary gaskets and oil seals.
✅ Fully serviced using genuine parts and oil.

BMW 535i Engine Transformation 🤩

A complete engine overhaul we carried out a while ago to an e34 with a M30B35 power plant. The engine was unfortunately neglected over the years and required a lot of work and even more cleaning.. The end result was worth it though and now compliments this beautiful classic 🚗🚙

BMW 535d engine rebuild after head gasket failure 🔧🔧

✅ Cylinders measured and honed
✅ Piston rings and crankshaft bearings replaced
✅ New timing chains and guides
✅ Every gasket and seal replaced
✅ Cylinder head checked and rebuilt, valves reseated and stem seals replaced, new lifters and rocker arms etc.

All auxiliaries checked and replaced where needed, a lot of work gone into this one but it is now back on the road and running smooth 🚙💨
