🔧 WE'RE HIRING – GENERAL OPERATIVE
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our team at Naughtons Car Dismantlers in Belcarra, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
This is a varied, hands-on role within our vehicle recycling yard. Previous experience working with vehicles or machinery would be an advantage, and training will be provided where required.
The role will include:
🔹 Operating a digger/material handler as part of the vehicle recycling process
🔹 Operating a forklift and other yard machinery
🔹 Crushing and processing end-of-life vehicles
🔹 Depolluting vehicles safely
🔹 Extracting and separating metals and recyclable materials
🔹 Moving and organising vehicles and materials around the yard
🔹 General yard duties
What we're looking for:
✅ Previous forklift or machinery experience is an advantage
✅ Practical and comfortable working with vehicles and machinery
✅ Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
✅ Willing to learn and take on a variety of duties
✅ Full driving licence preferred
✅ Previous vehicle recycling experience is an advantage but not essential
✅ Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Ireland. Employment permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

🕘 Full-time | Monday–Friday | 9am–5pm
