The Wexford Sports and Classic Car Club Spring Challenge takes place in Fethard-on-Sea on Sunday April 19th!

All cars Welcome, and it would be great to see some Classic Rally Cars there!

It’s a fun family day full of entertainment, with a street show and a charity run also, with prizes available for all!

The event was made even more special and attractive because the club was celebrating the 50th anniversary of the ever-popular Ford mk2 Es**rt.

We would like to thank most sincerely everybody who took part in our annual Baltinglass Classic Run on Sunday last. Our gratitude also to all who helped in the running of the event and in the buildup to it. We especially thank all our marshals on the street from early in the morning who helped keep everything moving smoothly and safely and our motorcycle marshals who made sure to keep everybody on route and get everybody back home safely.
Thanks also to our registration team who looked after the registration of all the entrants, organised meal tickets and dealt with any queries that arose on the day.
A big thank you also to all our sponsors without whom we couldn't run an event like this. This includes everybody who took advertisements in our booklet, those who donated raffle prizes or helped in any other way. Your help is greatly appreciated by the club and by the beneficiaries. Our thanks also to Germaine's who allowed us use their premises as event headquarters and also hosted the after event dinner and prizegiving. As always the meal was delicious and the service was very fast and efficient. Thanks too to St Patrick's College, Kiltegan who allowed us use their beautiful grounds for our rest stop.
This event has raised substantial funds for very deserving local causes and the full details will be published as soon as all accounts are finalised.
Again a special thank you to everybody who took part as without your support there would be no run. We hope to see you all back here next year for Baltinglass Classic Run 2026.

Get ready for one of the premier classic car events in the country — the Baltinglass Classic Run is back on Sunday, August 10th, bringing together vintage vehicle lovers, families, and the wider community for a fantastic day out in the heart of County Wicklow.

Expect an incredible display of classic cars, motorbikes, and rare collector’s gems — all lovingly restored and proudly driven.

At 2:00 PM, the convoy sets off on a stunning route through some of Wicklow’s most scenic countryside — a relaxed, enjoyable drive for participants and a spectacle for onlookers.
