Hello,
Just a quick update regarding availability for driving lessons.
Unfortunately I am still working through the backlog caused by the covid restrictions over the last 2 years.
I put a waiting list in place last Autumn and now have 55 people on it and I have just started person number 25 with lessons. So the list is moving but very very slowly 🐌 😕. Each person takes a little over 12 weeks (3months) to get through their lessons.
You can join the list at anytime and I will get back to each person as the get to they top of the list.
I'm am very sorry for any inconvenience caused and I am trying my best to efficiently get as many people through the EDT system as soon as possible. I appreciate your patience.

My student Haley passed her full licence driving test yesterday in Drogheda. So well deserved given the stop start we've had with the covid restrictions over the last year. Brilliant result..

Following the Government announcement last night the RSA will now reopen the theory test centres. In addition they are piloting 4000 on line theory tests to see if they could be permanently done online.
The RSA are also going to start inviting non- essential workers to sit their full licence test on a staged basis. The people who have been on the list longest will be given test dates first. We will then be able to provide them with pretest lessons once they have a test date.
If any of my existing students get a test date and wish to do pretest lessons get in contact with me straight away.
Unfortunately I will not have capacity to give pretests to those who are not already students of mine.
I'll post any updates as I get them. Stay safe

It has been confirmed by the RSA that from Monday 10th May EDT lessons (the 12 lessons) can resume for "essential workers" only who have started their lessons and already have a logbook.
"Essential workers" with a test date can also have pretest lessons.
There is no news when "non-essential" workers and lessons for others can begin but I hope by the end of May we might get the go ahead.
If you are an existing student of mine and are an essential worker needing to complete your 12 EDT lessons or have a test date and need pretest lessons, please get in touch.
I'll keep updating with info as I get it.

Covid update;
Regarding the restart of driving lessons. We are hearing that only lessons for "essential workers" will be allowed from May 10th. Obviously this is a confusing situation and we are awaiting clarification from the RSA. Given the Bank holiday it will probably be Tues before we get any further details. I'll update as soon as I have further information.
