This Saturday, 8th August 2026, marks a very special milestone for us at Shannonside Fish ‘n’ Tackle & Shoe Repair – 40 years in business, having first opened our doors on 8th August 1986.

I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each and every one of our customers for your loyalty, support and friendship over the past four decades. Your continued support has made this milestone possible, and we are truly grateful.

Today marks 39 years since I first opened the doors of Shannonside Fishing Tackle & Shoe Repairs here in Athlone.
