TerraClean vs Carbon Clean
These systems are as different as night and day, the hydrogen clean can only treat the parts which air or exhaust pass through.
The diesel Terraclean is in the fuel system so it treats the injectors, fuel rail, and injection pump. This then gets injected into the cylinder and burnt, there is another diesel treatment which will clean the airside of the engine i.e. inlet manifold, EGR valve, turbo, and particle filter.
The Terraclean petrol treatment has a canister of chemical which treats the fuel rail, injectors and inlet manifold/valves, a second canister of chemical which treats the downstream components after the cylinder, i.e. exhaust valve, lambda sensors, catalytic converter.
You won't find a product which can treat the entire system from just being introduced to the inlet manifold. And the 'redneck' water treatments definitely don't clean the fuel system components, and this is where the trouble can start if your injectors don't have the correct spray pattern as this will lead to incomplete combustion which in turn generates the excess carbon deposits that clog your EGR, turbo and DPF. The same applies to petrol engines except there is no EGR or DPF, but either way it hurts your performance and MPG.
£49 for Tap water or £130 Highly refined fuel rich in additives that make a real drive away difference….choose wisely 😅
